Cancer & DCA. University of Alberta Study
Ongoing research by the University of Alberta's Dept of Medicine with Dichloroacetate (DCA), a chemical used in the past for various diseases. They are struggling with the research on a promising treatment for cancer because of no funding.
Why? There is no patent on DCA.
Granted that businesses must make profit, it is very worrying when the extent of the monopoly shuts out anything that would benefit dying people.
