7th February 2007
There are a no. of legends surrounding the 14th of Feb.
My favourite is the one about Valentinus.
He was thrown into prison for refusing to worship non-Christian gods. February 14th was the day he was executed.
So what's my point?
When the 14th comes and you're celebrating with the ones you love, remember the imprisoned:
Remember those who have wrongfully been put there.
Remember those who have rightfully been put there.
Remember those who are prisoners in their own bodies.
Remember those who are prisoners to their own souls.
Remember those who are prisoners to unforgiveness.
Our Beloved penned beautiful words about His Body through the wise singer:
"Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves' eyes." Song of Solomon 1:15
Ah. Our Beloved has not left us lonely.
He has never left us
He has never left us to bear pain and rejection on our own.
We are fair in His eyes, for His Blood covers all.
sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters. He
delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for
they were too strong for me.They prevented me in the day of my
calamity: but the LORD was my stay. He brought me forth also into a
large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me." Psalm 18:16-19

Just as an addendum, the writings of Carl Schwing are now available on my site courtesy of Roger & Sunny Coffman. He writes very deep.
The writings of David & Laura Walker are also available on my website,

Here is a preview of Carl's Jan 2007 article:
rides the clouds and the heavens declare the glory of His presence. He
walks his earth and the fulness thereof offers praise to Him ... even
the rocks and mountains brake forth with praise to the Creator of all
things. In His presence the waves of the sea are still and whisper;
"The Master is here." He descends to the depths of hell and the gates
are lifted up that the King of glory may enter and set captives free.
Everywhere He is ... it is Paradise there.
It is within the Paradise of His Presence that the Roses that once were
crushed, bloom again ... never to fade ... to live eternally in the
radiance of His presence. Their sweet fragrance, like a rare perfume,
anoints the feet of the Beloved. And He covers the Roses with the light
of His love and fills them with himself.
Lilies stand tall in the Lord's supernal garden of life. With the voice
of tens of thousands of trumpets they proclaim His wondrous ways ...
bowing in the wind of the Spirit before their Immortal Beloved. He
walks among them, calling them by name, for they are His loving
brothers. Here is a preview of the Dec 2006 article:
would like to share with you some of the profound scenes which came to
me in the stillness and peace of the midnight hours. Scenes of us
walking together with our Beloved, following Him wherever He would go.
Scenes of wondrous things we saw and heard and experienced in the
realms of the Spirit ... the realms where there is no time or distance.
Beloved led us to the realm where all that could be heard was the sound
of the rushing wind, which was the breath of God. He breathed upon us
and we were reborn, as it were, and dwelled, once again, within the
depths of His Being.
led us to high and holy places which far transcended the heavenly
places. Music, filled with infinite glory, swept over our spirit
mesmerizing our senses. Our Beloved whispered; "You are hearing the
sound of the silence of the still small voice of God. You are hearing
the music of His presence."
great mist settled over the holy place ... resting upon us like dew
upon the roses in the cool of the early morning. We felt a surge of
divine energy ... an energy deep within the secret chambers of our
heart, as our love for the Beloved reached a hitherto unknown
proportion. Our Beloved whispered; " My love, like an anointing oil,
has been poured upon you and the Spirit of Eternal Love has pierced
your heart." With each beat of the heart our love for the Beloved grew
greater and more powerful, until we became the Living Tabernacle
wherein the fulness of His love abides. Then was our love for the
Beloved pure, holy, and unconditional like His love for us. Thus, we
bore another image and likeness of the Eternal One. See it here http://www.notjustnotes.ws/lldec2006.htm
