Very few people in the church understand the manner of the Lord's coming in this day; a coming whereby He sends forth His messengers to gather out of His kingdom all that causes stumbling and those who commit lawlessness. This is the coming of the Lord in fulfillment of the Day of Atonement; not the first part of that work (which is the forgiveness of sin), but a coming whereby sin is totally removed from His church.
Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many, and by that work alone all sin can be forgiven. But there is another appearance of the Lord; a second "appearance" for salvation without reference to sin (Hebrews 9:28) -- something that comes to those who are "eagerly awaiting" the Lord (the laying down of their self-lives).
This, beloved, is salvation by Christ's life-giving Spirit. It is not "salvation" as it is thought of by most Christians today (saved from hell to go to heaven), but is the salvation from all self; the resurrection out from all adamic death; the full and complete deliverance from the beastly carnal nature of fallen man.

As we all know, Jesus Christ came in the likeness of sinful flesh 2000 years ago and condemned sin in the flesh by tasting death for every man. That fulfilled the first part of a two part work (Lev. 16) and brought forgiveness to men for their sins. But there is another "coming" also, friends, a "coming" in which Christ comes to FULLY DELIVER (from their sinful nature) all those who "eagerly await Him."

"But what is the manner of this coming? they say. "Tell us more."

I'll leave that for you to ask the Lord about. Let's just say here that this "coming" will bring with it a revelation of the FIERY LOVE of God like the church has never seen before.
